Second time I was walking down side walk, there was a small stone and the wheel caught it and I came to a very quick stop, the next day it felt funny and saw it was broke...not for sure what happened the first time.. at almost 83.00 a wheel they should hold up better...I am very depended on my walker to get around so having to hobble around with a cane is dangerous and very inconvenient...

Drivemedical scout recived with broken front end

on 2-14-17 i ordered and received 4 days later a drive medical spitfire scout upon inspection of box every thing was good.when i opened the box in the middle on the very bottom lay a piece of plastic. after assembly the steering would only turn left , after checking the lift handle for the front was broken plus the hangers for the front cover were broken.cant say for sure but looks as someone threw broken pieces in box and shipped it. i like the machine .put new home made metal braces on it works good. just for price you think some one would send an unbroken product.

Customer services UK

I have an issue with Drive Medical UK office as they never reply to emails, there's never anyone to speak to when calling them and they never return my calls. UK Customer service is appalling and non existent. I am trying to obtain a new carry bag as mine is broken and unusable, nobody will respond and advise if they can supply the necessary part, the US head office are trying to resolve this but cant get a response from their UK office either which doesn't look good if you require any parts or repairs. I would not recommend anyone purchasing one of their products - your better off buying from a company that does care about its customers.

My Drive Phoenix Scooter, still in warranty, hardly used, needs service. Your warranty, covering only parts, is wholly inadequate.

The user--most often an elderly disabled person--should be able to take the product back to the dealer, who should arrange for repairs and return to the owner.

Now the owner is on his own, and is often limited to dealing with a repair station far from his home.Getting warranty service under present conditions is a nightmare and an expensive proposition. Can you image what it would be like to buy a car under similar restrictions?

Absolutely unprofessional customer service / order not yet delivered

I ordered via walmart on 25 Nov for this Drive Medical Folding Exercise Peddler with Electronic Display Sku: 600019****425. And instead of sending the item to me, Drive Medical sent it to Walmart and Walmart never sent it. I called up Drive medical customer support and they refused to talk to me. Now if Drive medical sends the invoice to me, isn't it their responsibility to keep the customer satisfied? My Money is gone. There is no solution insight. I am very angry with this. Walmart customer support is also running me in circles. I want this issue to be resolved. I don't understand this relationship between Walmart and Drive Medical. DRIVE IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!

I purchased a bed from Prime Plus. About a month after, they were purchased by Drive. I went out of my way to avoid buying a low air loss bed/frame from Drive because I've heard such bad things, but once they bought out PrimePlus there was nothing I could do. PrimePlus offered what they told me was a solid metal frame and a 15 year warranty. Cut to one year later, today. The frame is broken, and drive is refusing to honor the warranty. They are sending me to vitality medical, the company who sold me the bed. Not only that they are telling me that the bed is functional. I can't even touch that side of the bed, let alone use it, and they haven't sent a single person or contractor here, but they are telling me the bed is functional. But Guess where vitality is sending me? (one word, five letters). Meanwhile, I can't do slide board transfers because the bottom of my bed is broken, but Drive has their money and that is evidently all that matters. So make sure they don't buy out the company you purchase your DMEs from.....please please PLEASE don't buy it directly from Drive, unless you are sure you can get buy without it when it breaks.

Bath seat defective after less than two months

My mother ordered a Bathroom Safety Shower Tub Bench Chair, which is supposed to be durable and hold up to 400lbs. For the first month or so, the bench was great. I put it together for her with ease, as there was simple thumb screws and click-adjusting legs. Recently, less than two months after purchasing this product, the legs have become uneven and the bench rocks due to the various leg heights. I have taken it apart and put it back together, testing it at each interval, to no avail. We can't figure out what has happened to this product. I do know that for the money that is spent and the supposed quality of the Drive name, this bench should last way longer than two months. The quality of the product is shoddy. I have not contacted customer service yet, but from reading these reviews, I am not looking forward to it and have doubts it will be a positive experience.

My mother was thrown from the "Drive" walker on two occasions when a tiny bump was hit on carpet. The second time she was even holding on tightly when I was slowly pushing her on a sidewalk. The front wheels have no forgiveness. Now she is afraid to be pushed in it....

I was looking for recalls on the Drive Transport Chair/Rollator. Today I was thrown from my chair while my nurse was pushing me on the flat carpet!

In my apartment building. We was told that the front Left Wheel was shaking so bad; just before it threw me on the floor. I was hurt badly and had to call 911 to help me off the floor.

Then I had to go to the ER where I spent 8 hours in pain. This chair in unsafe!

Replacement of defective parts

Insolent customer service department. Difficulty replacing defective parts on medical bed. Contractor that installs bed is not paid for labor to remove defective parts. Customer service tries to deny service claims they can only talk with distributor. They won't pay the distributor because it is no longer an installation, so the distributor won't talk with you. And customer service knows that. While your ill loved one suffers in a mechanically dysfunctional bed causing additional health risks and challenges. This is due to defective mechanical plastic parts. You cannot continue to deliver poor service, low quality products, at premium prices and stay in business. The outcome is disastrous. The reason that someone needs a medical bed is due to health issues. If the faulty bed exasperates their condition and causes further harm there are legal ramifications for such actions.

These comments about the run around are so so true! The plastic motor on the full electric hospital bed had broken 3 times in 2015. One time it only lasted 2 wks!
